Do I need the brand name seal for my Amana Refrigerator?

How do I replace my seals and do I have to buy Amana brand or will any brand work?

Yes you can get gaskets custom made but they usually cost more then the generic brand. Check on this fact first though by phoning around. Unless the gasket is torn though you may just need to adjust the door. I'll paste the article out of my book that describes how to do this.
