Door leak causes frost?

Thanks for your expertise. My Dutters/ Frigidair freezer has been working for about 25 years. I have noticed frost accumulating around the edges. I am also noticing the door seal is not tight. To replace the door seal it appears that I must dismantle the door. The freezer is still working. Is there any hope to save this freezer?

If the gasket is not ripped or deteriorated you may just need to adjust the door to make the seal fit properly. Here is an article from my book that may help you adjust it.
