How to remove a door on a freezer equipped with water and ice dispenser

I have a new Amana side by side. The door to the unit had to be removed to get it in the kitchen. Now we must move it out. Is the removal of the freezer door difficult? It has water/ice in the door.

No the door is not too hard to remove, it’s actually meant to come off. There is a water line fitting at the bottom of the freezer door under the kick plate and a wiring connector either at the top or the bottom. Once you have these disconnected, remove the top hinge and lift the door off.

Important. Remember where each and every spacer and washer went and be sure not to lose them.
