How do I find where a 3 month Freon leak is?
The refrigerator is a whirlpool side by side model. The problem is I have a leak in the refrigerant lines, and I don’t know how to find the leak. If I could put a color dye in the lines I might be able to see the leak. It is a very slow leak. It takes about 3 months to leak down.
You should find the presence of refrigeration oil at the place where it's leaking. If it causes symptoms in 3 months it may be less then a drop but it will be there.
