No more Freon R12?
Is there a date when it will be against the law to use R12 recycled or not. I believe that you can still buy recycled R12, is this correct.
Yes at this time in Canada where I live we can still use recycled R12. It can only be sold to someone with a license to handle it in our area though. At this point there are many alternatives to R12 on the market, some that even work better. As far as when we can't legally use R12, I think that time is coming in the next 5 years or so. You could contact whichever local government department that administrates it for details in your country.
