Oil on the floor and not working well

I defrosted my GE Refrigerator a few days ago and I have never been able to get the same level of coldness back. It did get to a freezing level in the Freezer part but today I came home and the
Refrigerator part was not cold at all and the freezer portion was not nearly as cold as well with food defrosted in it. I pulled it away from the wall to check the plug and it was fine but some
brown liquid is escaping from the bottom of the unit when I move it. It’s oily and does not appear to be just discolored water.

If it's oil on the floor, your system has a leak. This would explain why it's not cold enough. You should get it repaired soon. Shut it down now because if this leak is on the low side you could be pulling air and moisture into the system causing permanent damage.
