Get ice but no water

I have an Amana side by side refrigerator. freezer, I get ice out but it will not dispense water. What might be the problem?

Possibly,:

--one half of the dual water solenoid is burnt out (this commonly happens especially on your design). You can test these by temporarily energizing the dispenser side with line voltage.

--the wire jack could be vibrated off. You will notice this when you do the test as above.

--the micro switch below the fill spout is worn or the lever that actuates it is cracked.
