Frequently Asked Questions About Domestic Refrigerator Repair:
No water because of line plugged up?
We have a fridge that's probably 10 yrs. old. it's a side-by-side freezer/fridge with ice and water lines. I think the water line is clogged with lime, as it quit working and there is a lot of lime build-up around the dispenser. how can we clean that line out? inside the door the access is sealed and enclosed so I can't get to it. any ideas?
I've never come across a water line that wouldn't work because of being plugged up. Hope this fact helps you.
You didn't mention what kind of fridge it is so I'm just guessing, but either the solenoid is burnt out, (does the ice maker still get water?), or it could be the switch on the freezer door.
