Frequently Asked Questions About Domestic Refrigerator Repair:

Very little volume

HI, MY DAUGHTER JUST BOUGHT A SIDE BY SIDE REFRIGERATOR WITH AN ICE MAKER AND A H20 DISPENSER. THE WATER LINE IS 1/4 IN. CU. TUBE ABOUT 10 FT. LONG BUT THE WATER COMES OUT WITH VERY LITTLE VOLUME. THE LINE IS NOT CRIMPED AND THE VALVE ON THE CU TUBE IS CLEAR CAN YOU HELP. THANKS

Check to see if there is an inline filter somewhere along the supply line. If she bought the refrigerator new or relatively new, most modern ones have the filter mounted inside or at the back. The owner’s manual will indicate the location if present.

Other than that though, these "partially working" problems are really hard to trace even when I'm right there in your kitchen! There is nothing except a clogged filter that you've told me that rings a bell, like makes me want to say..... "well sure try this.." as in many other problems. Your daughter may have to call someone in on this one. Sorry I could not be of more help,
