Where is this dual solenoid on a Whirlpool?
The waterline hooks to one connection to the fridge. Where does it split. My wife is after me to fix this cause the kids are having trouble getting water from the faucet. What did we ever do without this stuff anyway?
The split happens right on the part that the water line hooks onto. On a Whirlpool it should be in the same area where the compressor is housed. The solenoid itself is usually a light blue color.
It will have one line in, (the pressure line) and two out with 4 electrical terminals attached. It may be placed under a cover if your unit has a condenser cooling fan.
