Front door panel rusting

Our RCA refrigerator has all of a sudden began rusting on the front door panel. could there have been a recall on this refrigerator. it is only 5 years old. help....

I haven't heard of one but I know this problem may be caused because you have your humid switch set in the wrong position for the environment, or perhaps the mullion heater under the strike plate is burnt out.
