I went to your web site to check out your product. How can your device make refrigerator’s run colder? By lowering the humidity?

The cold control, the refrigerators thermostat, runs the refrigerator at wherever temperature you set it to run. No filter in the world is going to make it run colder.

Also, frost-free refrigerators, as are used in over 99% of the homes and apartments across North America, work as dehumidifiers already. The moisture from inside the cabinet is captured on the evaporator each and every run cycle and routed during the defrost cycle to the outside of the cabinet. So except for a short time during the defrost cycle itself it's one of the driest places in your home. Yes, your mineral bladder may capture a bit of moisture, but compared to the dynamics of the defrost cycle itself, calculating that you dry this thing out in the microwave every 2 months, you’re talking hundreds of thousands of times less moisture removed. Why bother?

Also, ammonia is only used as a refrigerant in RV type designs and they haven’t used Sulfur Dioxide since the 1930’s.

Note: The company replied back, didn’t answer any of my questions but they did send me a free sample filter. I tried it in my own refrigerator and noticed no advantages whatsoever.
