Frequently Asked Questions About Domestic Refrigerator Repair:
Light won’t work
The light bulb in the refrigerator went out and when replaced with a new bulb, it didn't do the trick. Can you give us a possible answer why?? Thanks very much.
Sometimes replacement bulbs are a little wider in the collar. This would be okay when the fridge is new, but when older the rubber around the socket may have hardened. Sometimes you may have to trim the rubber so you can get the bulb in far enough to make contact. If this isn’t the problem then it’s likely the switch that has burnt out.
