New process to paint refrigerators
Hi, it was nice to see your info here. I could use your opinion. I saw a remodel program and she had someone come in and paint a frig w/some sort of magnetic paint system. Was supposed to be a better look. Does this ring a bell to you at all? I don't want to do the work myself, am just wondering where to look to find someone who will know what they're doing.

Yes I have heard of this process, it's called electrostatic painting. This may work great but it could be overkill. If it would cost the same as a regular paint job though, what the heck. The advantage is that this process can be performed right in your home without moving the unit to a shop.
Unlike stoves, refrigerators don’t need any special paint process to look good. I've seen many refrigerators repainted (even opposite colors) with the same process as automotive shops use with very excellent results. In fact if done right they look better than factory finishes.
