Painting the inside of the freezer compartment?

We inherited a fridge at our cottage. Good working condition but the inside of the freezer is all rusted and scraped. Can we paint it??

Yes, you could paint it. Use a fast drying Tremclad spray bomb. Make sure the freezer compartment is room temp and dry before you paint. Also you need to make sure the paint is completely dry before you fire the unit up again. Leave the freezer door open overnight if possible.
