Frequently Asked Questions About Domestic Refrigerator Repair:

Pricing out a used refrigerator

Great tips on buying a refrigerator. However, how does one price the refrigerator assuming all

things are working properly? What type of depreciation can one expect to factor in to evaluate a given price? Thanks for your help.

This is a good question. I don't think there is a formula that applies like when buying a car though.

In my city in Canada, working frost- free refrigerators, no matter what age they are, seem to sell for $200 to $300, unless in poor shape. Higher end newer refrigerators can sell for more but rarely will go for over $400. I think it's just something you have to shop around for until you get the best deal.

Another factor, I can sell a refrigerator for about 25% more then a homeowner because I can supply a guarantee.
