Turn it up, still freezing

We have a side by side refrigerator/freezer and find when the dial is set to keep the milk at a good temperature, the vegetables freeze in the bin which is second from the bottom. The unit is a 1994 Maytag with an ice maker. Even with the settings set slightly higher we still experience the freezing in the back left corner of the bin. Any suggestions?

Hmmmm, You may be going the wrong way on the dial. The higher the number or letter the colder the setting. Try turning the controls lower.
