Leaks rusty water onto the floor
My side by side is leaking rusty colored water. My husband replaced the freezer seal. This did not help. It still cools fine, but my mom says it's leaking Freon. True or false? I sure would hate to find it all thawed out one day.
Sounds like water from the defrost cycle is getting in-between the two walls of your cabinet, likely at the bottom. When it is so full it overflows, and hence the rusty color. You should have the drains checked by some one knowledgeable of your specific design. I say this because these situations are hard to trace, and perhaps someone that has seen this before knows of an easy resolve. Is it leaking Freon? No, or it wouldn’t be working at all
