How long do you have to wait to after you move a fridge on it’s side?
I have heard if you have to lay a refrigerator down, you have to wait before plugging in it once it is upright again. How long should I wait? Please help. Thank you!
About 8 hrs should be sufficient. But sometimes no matter how long you let it sit after a move the system plugs. This only happens though if you laid it down on the wrong side.
This problem can be virtually eliminated by simply laying it down with the suction line, (the largest diameter pipe coming out of the compressor) downward. I hope you lucked out.
