Frequently Asked Questions About Domestic Refrigerator Repair:

Refrigerator was tipped over to move, what should I do before I plug it back in

I read your article on tips on moving refrigerators and I have a question. I read this article after the fact, and I'd like to know how would I know if the oil got into the gas dryer. I had asked some neighbors to help me unload the fridge from my truck and they tilted it completely on its back. Should I be concerned about anything?

No, most of the time nothing adverse will happen. All you can do now is let it sit for at least 8 hours and give it a try. Either it will work or it won’t but there is nothing else you can do at this point.

If oil has plugged the dryer you won't get any cooling effect whatsoever after it runs for at least 2 hours. If not unplug it and call a tech.
