Admiral, freezer section works, refrigerator section does not

I have a 3 year old Admiral I bought from Montgomery Wards. Recently, the refrigerator compartment stopped cooling. However, the freezer still cools and the system is running constantly. I had a guy tell me I need a defrost system overhaul. Is this true. If so, is this something I can do? Thanks,

First of all check your fan. Your freezer should have a fan that runs whenever the compressor is running. Failing this, to trace a defrost malfunction and repair it, where I live in Canada, is less then $100. This usually includes everything no matter what part it is. It could vary from place to place though.
