Freezer section not freezing but refrigerator section okay
I have a Kenmore refrigerator. The top freezer part does not freeze anything and the lower refrigerator part seems to be fine. So I guess half of it is working and the other half is not. Also the Freon line sweats a lot.
Sorry but this sounds serious to me. If you have little cooling effect in the freezer and the compressor runs constantly, that means it's either not pumping or the refrigerant has leaked out. This is one for which you may have to call a tech.
One other possibility is that the compressor is cutting out before the cycle is complete. You might have to get right down there and observe. If this is happening perhaps it's not getting enough air circulation due to dust-clogged coils or being built in too tight to the cupboards.
