Freezes everything fine except for ice cream

Montgomery wards Model HMG 12450 Freezer on top. The freezer seems to freeze everything but ice cream! I can put a half gallon of frozen ice cream in the freezer and the next day it is soft! What could be the trouble? Thank you

If you have room on the control try turning it up a bit, if not you may have a technical problem.
