A chemical odor

Dear Fridgedr: Please help! Lately I have noticed a strong peculiar odor (kind of like a chemical or something) coming from my refrigerator. I have tried everything from cleaning out the freezer and refrigerator with bleach to putting in baking soda. There is no spoiled food in the refrigerator so I know it's not that. However, now the odor is absorbed in almost everything in my refrigerator and I find I have to throw a lot of my food away because it tastes like it smells! This is driving me crazy! Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
