Frequently Asked Questions About Domestic Refrigerator Repair:

Is it worth repairing an upright in this situation?

Got an older upright deep freezer...stills cools...but not keeping things frozen. Coils are clean and un-obstructed, but the 'cold' line from the tank is not cold anymore just room temp. Any suggestions?

Sounds to me like it either has a leak or a weak compressor. In any case this is a job you will have to call a tech for. If this was a chest type unit it likely wouldn’t be worth the repair but that may be debatable on an upright, especially if it is in otherwise good condition.
