Running a refrigerator on a balcony

I read your site and didn't see this question answered. I recently bought
a 4 cubic foot fridge/freezer. I would like to leave it out on my balcony.
It is covered so i don't have to worry about moisture. However I was
wondering if the intense heat of summer would cause a problem and i should
not leave it outside?

It should be able to handle things in the summer as long as it's not in the
direct sunlight, but during the winter there would be problems if you have
it running in the cold, especially covered up.
