Can the color of a refrigerator be used to determine it’s age?

I would like to determine the age of a refrigerator. Will the color of a side by side refrigerator help in this regard? I am looking at harvest gold or green. I would appreciate any help in this determination. Thank you.

If memory serves me correctly, the green and gold (also dark brown and dark red) era was between 1971 and 1979.

If you want the specific year, phone whoever would do the warranty work on that "make" in your area with your model number. This can be found out quite easily. Hope this helps.
